Water-activated tape
Paper tape whose adhesive is activated by wetting with water; applied with a dispenser.
Water-activated (gummed) paper tape is not tacky when dry; it is wetted in a dispenser, applied to the carton and bonds into the paper. Self-adhesive kraft paper tape, by contrast, sticks directly and is applied by hand.
Protack® is a self-adhesive kraft paper tape.
