About Us
Sustainability: we document what we claim
Paper packaging has a strong environmental case, and we only make claims we can document.
Our approach
Product side and production side together
Sustainability has two sides for us. On the product side: 100% recyclable paper, and a mono-material pack that goes back into the paper stream after use. On the production side: environmental management, solar energy and fewer shipments thanks to compact packaging.
We put the evidence next to every claim. We explain how we word them in our guide to environmental claims, and how we are preparing for the European rules in our PPWR guide.

Product side
The pack itself
- 01
100% recyclable paper
Our products are 100% recyclable paper.
- 02
Mono-material pack
When the box, fill, wrap and tape are all paper, the whole pack can go into the paper stream without separating materials.
- 03
Instead of plastic
SafePak® replaces plastic bubble wrap, RollPad® and Orbiform® replace air pillows, Protack® replaces plastic tape, and cardboard edge protectors replace plastic ones.
- 04
Food contact
Our food-contact declaration of compliance is available on the certificates page.
Production side
Measurable commitments at the plant
- 01
40% renewable electricity
We meet 40% of our electricity needs from solar energy.
- 02
25% more units
Compact packaging design means more product per shipment and fewer vehicles.
- 03
Sapling donations
We support reforestation through sapling donations.
Honest claims
What we say and what we do not
The rules we follow in our marketing copy.
- "Recyclable" is used only for mono-material, uncoated paper products.
- "Recycled content" is backed by a supplier declaration.
- No carbon footprint figure is given until a product-level life cycle assessment has been published.
- "Biodegradable" and "compostable" are not used without naming the standard and conditions.
- A mixed pack (paper box plus plastic tape) is never called "fully recyclable".
