Drop test
A test in which a packaged product is dropped from a set height onto a corner, an edge and a face to check protection.
A drop test shows in advance how the packaging set-up will cope with real shipping. After corner, edge and face drops, the product and inner packaging are inspected; if there is damage, the number of layers is increased first, then the fill.
