Box compression test (BCT)
The force a box can carry from above without deforming; the key measure for stacking.
Box compression strength (Box Compression Test, BCT) shows how much load a box can carry in a stack. On a pallet, the bottom carton crushes if its compression strength is insufficient.
Double wall board, edge protectors and honeycomb panel interlayers help carry the compression load.
